I have been going there ever since I was a little girl ( 30+  years) and every time I am surprised by how good the food is. The cheesesteak is the best I have had anywhere. This restaurant is run by an amazing family and a great staff.

We love coming to this pizzeria. My husband is very picky with pizza, and we keep coming back here, so that means something. They have specials throughout the week, along with their 99 cent cheese slices on Tuesdays.

Looking for a quick and easy lunch? This is the spot to go. The pizza crust was delicious! My son asked for seconds!!

After serving aboard the USS Westmooreland in the Pacific during World War II, George returned to his hometown of Derry, New Hampshire and opened a small restaurant.

This is where he started making his trademark “New England
Style” subs.

In the summer of 1958, Ernest C. Reisinger (a Carlisle businessman and former Navy friend) convinced George to relocate to Carlisle. George bought the Kruger Dairy store from Dick Kruger in the fall of that year. A deal sealed with a handshake.

For his first three years, George lived in a small room at the back of the store. His only possessions were a cot, a light, and a Bible. Through faith in God, 18 hour workdays and his love for people, he turned his little shop into a thriving business.

Today we make our subs the same way George made them back in 1958. We invite you to stop by and try George’s “New England Style” subs and pizza and check out the photo wall that George started shortly after opening. We thank all of our customers over the years for making our little shop what it is today.
